At the heart of the identity is a silk moth, an emblem taken from the building’s history as a silk mill dating back to 1754. The identity was developed across both the Freemasons Inn pub and The Silk Rooms accommodation, each with its own distinct visuals while remaining connected.

The moth motif is woven throughout the space, appearing across brand collateral and printed materials. A series of bespoke prints, inspired by the form and detail of the moth, celebrate craftsmanship and tradition.
